As we continue with our calorie counting, we needed to find a "munch-able" that would not pack on the pounds. Specifically, we needed to find something that fills the bill while watching TV. We settled on microwave popcorn, one bag shared between the two of us. We are picky popcorn people. We bypass the flavored selections, as well as the artificial buttery kind, preferring to find the kind that would be similar to the taste we got when we used our old air popped popcorn popper. We tried all of the fancy, pricey kinds, and then discovered a Stop & Shop brand that is both tasty and cheap, a winning combination. It's a treat we enjoy, truthfully, I would enjoy pinot grigio more, but a treat is still a treat!January 12, 2012: Freshly popped popcorn always making me smile!
